WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ORGANIZATION ALREADY RUNNING PAID MEDIA ADS ON GOOGLE, META AND/OR LINKEDIN. York University’s Certificate in Digital Marketing Analytics is looking for an organization that would allow our student to analyze their paid media campaign data sets for educational purposes. Students will analyze campaign performance, explore cause-and-effect relationship of key variables, and deliver insights back to the organization through reports and dashboards that demonstrate the effectiveness of your Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads . Students will need the following for the project to be successful. A clear business problem that is driving the analysis of your paid media campaigns VIEW ONLY access to your social media sites to analyze the data, for the duration of the certificate program. At least two supporting variables…sales targets, “customer” demographics, marketing spend on campaigns, etc. These variables will be used for the cause-and-effect analysis.

Applied Offensive Cyber Security: Real-World Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Analysis

Students in this post-graduate certificate program are advanced students who have undergone intensive training in ethical hacking, vulnerability analysis, and offensive cybersecurity. They are capable of: Conducting professional-grade penetration testing and vulnerability assessments Applying the seven phases of penetration testing to identify, document, and remediate real-world security threats Analyzing Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) used by malicious actors Installing, configuring, and using offensive security tools across web apps and OS environments Creating detailed technical reports and security risk ratings with strategic recommendations Working in teams to simulate real-world threat scenarios, leveraging professional tools and workflows
Digital Authoring Practicum
WRIT 4001
Students in Digital Authoring Practicum are digital storytellers––capable of editing, writing, and composing persuasive digital content. They know practices such as podcasting, media-rich instructional writing, and social media reels. Organizations can benefit by working with these storytellers because they can amplify campaigns, events, and internal communications and writing. Please note: Students will be making decisions about these placement opportunities when I present them in November. As such, placement is not guaranteed. Thank you for understanding.
